| The SLVFD is proud to announce the launch of this new website. It is our sincere hope that you enjoy the information posted here.
SLVFD's web presence began in 1997 with a basic website that is being retired after 13 years of service. Our new site adds enhanced graphics, new public information, and a current news interface on the websites home page.
Our department's efficiency has been greatly enhanced by a password protected non-public area that allows the volunteers to retrieve documents, review department calendars, and receive announcements in real time.
Certain areas of the website are still under construction so we ask you to be patient while the finishing touches are added. We would especially ask past members of the SLVFD and members of the community to review the history section of the website and provide feedback on any memories, corrections, photo's or any pertinent information that you may have to contribute to our history section.
Links to the old website should be updated to reflect the new address at www.saranaclakefire.com . An automatic redirect link will be placed on the old address for an appropriate period of time and then the old address will be disabled.
As we welcome our new hosts and designers at www.firehousesolutions.com , we would like to thank the members of the SLVFD who have contributed to this project. We would also like to thank our past hosts and designers specifically Rob Grant and Susan Moore at www.adirondacks.com , and Hilary Appell at Rainbow Graphics. |
