We are excited to announce that the Holiday Helpers Toy Drive is returning to the Firehouse, but more importantly we would like to say that this year Holiday Helpers has a huge need! We are told that the requests for assistance this year are far exceeding the norm!

Our Community has always supported this cause in a big way. Recent economic conditions have caused this years need to be considerably more than in years past and we are asking everyone to step up and make this drive a big one and help bring joy to those families in need.

For many years the SLVFD has held this toy drive. For the last few years the toys were dropped off to SLVFD members in drive through fashion at the Baptist church. This year we are returning to our normal program Where all are invited to the firehouse to drop off and take a moment to visit with the volunteers who will be collecting toys and decorating the firehouse for the holiday season.

Holiday Helpers asks for unwrapped toys, which will be sorted by age group.

Drop off time is Saturday November 26th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
