SLVFD members spent Thursday evening training on the new Ladder 144. Training included hands on practice for those members who may be tasked with operating the ladder from either the turntable or from within the bucket. Practice included positioning the ladder at some of the more difficult buildings where it may have to be deployed in a real emergency someday.
SLVFD members spend a significant amount of time training for all contingencies. We are very proud of their effort and thank them for the time they spend preparing to keep our great community safe.
Stay tuned for future training updates.
