It's that time of year... SLVFD-Holiday Helpers Toy Drive... November 24th 10:00am to 2:00pm

By SLVFD News Room
November 6, 2018

The holiday season is upon us, and so is our desire to help our community...

Holiday helpers is a great organization that helps families in need by ensuring children have a great holiday and no child goes without presents.

We ask any and all who are able to please make a donation of an unwrapped present for a child in need.

For the past several years the SLVFD has hosted a drop off place and time for your generous donation of unwrapped toys and delivered them to the Holiday Helpers who in turn deliver them to the families.

It is truly heart warming to watch the toys roll in and the pile of toys grow bigger and bigger. Our community is very special!!!

On Saturday November 24th our doors will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm to receive the presents. During this time firefighters will be on hand decorating the fire house and visiting with those who stop by.

This event seems to be growing year after year. Holiday Helpers needs our support. Your community and your SLVFD will be there to help.
